Join Create CA and CCSESA Arts Initiative for a training series based on the newly released 4th Edition of the Expanding Access to the Arts in Schools and Community: A Strategic Planning Guide. Arts education consultants and co-authors of the guide, Kimberleigh Aarn and Peggy Burt, will lead this 3-part learning series that will provide school leaders, arts coordinators, community arts partners and emerging strategic planners with effective methods to build consensus and unlock transformative change. The series will highlight trends in the arts education field, virtual methods to inspire teams, and practices that build leadership capacity. By the end of this series, participants will understand how to:

At the Rural Arts Network Virtual Meetings you will have the chance to
- Connect with your colleagues charged with rural arts education
- Receive updates on funding opportunities (the Arts Music and Instructional Materials Discretionary Block Grants, Arts and Music in Schools Funding and Accountability Act, etc.))
- Explore ways to thoughtfully leverage funding, including through strategic planning
- Engage in a discussion with colleagues to consider next steps
