Participants will then do a hands-on art making lesson, as well as explore several other lesson types an d strategies to prepare them to incorporate the arts and SEL into their teaching in the fall. Louisa Higgins is the Arts Administrator the Riverside County Office of Education. She has fourteen years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher, and another fourteen years as an arts educator and administrator. She is a practicing artist, poet, and a passionate advocate for the need for arts access for every student!
